Tyler Westcott is singer-songwriter, storyteller, poet, band leader, festival promoter, song collector, armchair folklorist, banjoist, guitarist, harmonica player, ordained officiant, & human being based out of Western New York State. He has a knack for describing the human condition with humor and joy, Often in timely and topical songs reflecting the current state of the world. Westcott guides audiences through a myriad of genres and decades of roots music while seamlessly weaving in his own original cuts. Taking inspiration and cues from field recordings, old time string bands, the traditional jazz and street sounds of New Orleans, country/ragtime blues of 20s & 30s, & folk revival songwriters!

Always a fun time at Bright Ideas Brewing!

This is a freestyle craft. You can make anything you'd like.
We will provide you with a prepped window, sea shells, sand, colored glass, and more! You can bring your own items as well. We will guide you through the process step by step. Due to curing time, you will need to pick up your piece the next day.

*Holding harmless The Art Lab & Gallery for any injury that may occur to attendees during time classes are held either on or off the premises.

*Materials and frame colors/styles change by availability. We do our best to keep your work as perfect as we can. Bubbles, cloudiness, resin leaks, and some material drifting may occur.

Shantyman is a psychedelic funk-rock quartet based in Massachusetts. They tastefully blend various genres from Funk & Soul to Rock n’ Roll. Constantly playing impromptu style setlists, Shantyman is a tidal wave of peaking riffs, crashing into a funk filled sea of pure joy and excitement.

Over the past 10 years the band has toured all over the country, playing shows at historic venues such as the Bitter End (NYC), Pearl Street Ballroom (Northampton, MA), Middle East downstairs (Cambridge, MA) the Webster Theatre (Hartford, CT), Nectars and Club Metronome (Burlington, VT) as well as multiple music festival circuits over the years.

Shantyman spent a few years building their fanbase out west in Colorado, where they played venues such as the Fox Theatre, Owsley’s Golden Road, Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple, and the Trading Post at Red Rocks Amphitheater as a pre-party for the String Cheese Incident. Shantyman has also shared stages with friends such as Twiddle, Kung Fu, Turkuaz, Melvin Seals & JGB, Max Creek, Alan Evan's (Soulive), Lotus, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, EOTO, Spiritual Rez, Honeycomb, Badfish (Tribute to Sublime) and many more.

Ch’CHUNK is a band located in Western Massachusetts that is a modern take on classic swing. They perform classics as well as originals. The name ch’CHUNK! was derived from the sound and type of strumming associated with various types of swing music.
